*Mossin's* is undoubtedly the cheapest inn in [[Ghelia]], run singlehandedly by [[Mossin]]. Despite being the cheapest, it's still safe and clean, albeit lacking in amenities.
The establishment looks underwhelming from not only the outside, but the inside as well. This simple one-story stone- and wooden-storefront is in-fact an inn with room for hundreds, theoretically, and dozens, certainly.

## Entrance
The entrance of *Mossin's* is a short-ceilinged 9- by 7-foot lobby with room enough for its two prominent features, a staircase descending to the [[#Moss Room]] and a check-in counter. As the door opens a bell lightly tinkles, the door closes itself softly on its hinges.
Above the staircase hangs the only lantern near a sign that reads "No lights, No talking" in [[Abyssal]], [[Common]], [[Draconic]], [[Dwarvish]], [[Elvish]], [[Giant]], [[Gnomish]], [[Goblin]], [[Halfling]], [[Orcish Language]], and [[Primordial]].
> [!info] The Rules
> Mossin is an incredibly light sleeper. Any talking or light will wake him up. When an adventurer comes in in the night, he hears the bell and goes up to help them. All help is given using the [[Message]] cantrip, **No talking**.
> > [!failure]- Breaking The Rules
> > Luckily [[Mossin]] doesn't need to enforce the rules himself, he merely warns rulebreakers to protect his moss. He knows that tired travelers can have short-tempers, and when fights break out, moss gets damaged.
## Moss Room
All guests stay here beneath the [[#Entrance]]; this 12-foot-tall room has no light sources. As one descends the stairs they will see a lightly glowing sea of verdigris light from the [[Phosphorescent Moss]] below; the room darkens as the glow from the lantern diminishes further from the stairs.
There are not only no lights, there is nearly nothing in this room except for the bodies and belongings of other passing adventurers. Some people choose to lay out bed rolls, others choose to sleep directly on the moss. The moss itself is lush and soft, though slightly cool and damp.
Next to the staircase, there is a small cubby recessed into the wall where [[Mossin]] lives and keeps his tools for maintaining the [[#Moss Room]].
