After the [[Illiman Wave]], the *Drow* people came out of the underground and were instrumental in the kickstart of civilization, alongside those who defeated [[The Illiman]]. As such, the *Drow* people were early prominent rulers throughout [[Elmanon]] following the [[Illiman Wave]]. Not all [[Drow]] people returned to the surface; many remained in the [[Underdark]], feeling betrayed by the surfacers who did not prevent their banishment. Now on the surface the *Drow* people rule only over [[Vitunia]] with [[Queen Zilvarra Hune - GM]] as their ruler. Even those *Drow* that live on the surface carry and are formed by the magic of the [[Underdark]]. The return to the surface did not happen immediately, news of [[The Illiman]]'s death did not reach the *Drow* people quickly. When it did, many people assumed it was a trick or a trap and remained underground. Others still had made a home for themselves within the [[Underdark]] and were happy to remain. As brave *Drow*, like [[Ollurmnin Hune|Ollurmnin Hune]], ventured to the surface lands, risking their lives to return to where they had been banished by [[The Illiman]], they found the truth.
