![[Pasted image 20250203202800.png]] Believed by many to be a King among Kings, Asmodeus has appeared since the dawn of time in tales, legends, and sacred texts of all peoples. It seems that his story contains many others within it, but all agree on the ability of this demon to massively influence the world of mortal beings. He often operates in disguise, perpetuating perverse machinations, substituting himself for mortals of great prestige, and taming entire peoples to enact ancient and burning revenge. Even the appearance he shows to his faithful never corresponds to the truth, and he loves to change it, to get closer to mortals and their vicissitudes. Among all his peers is, by far, the one who can see a form of perverse beauty in the fornicating creatures of flesh and blood. So much so that for some lustful poets, he is even capable of falling in love with them. In several scrolls, mostly from the East, he is portrayed more as a God among the Djinn, the spirits of the desert, than a real demon. Seduced by his lies, there are those who even dare to trace some dim virtues and sparks of reasonableness. But this too is a mask of Asmodeus. He is “The One who always holds”, Lord of 72 legions, King of Desire, of carnal vengeance, and of the Lust that never dies out. He exists to be believed, loved, and excused. He is like an abyss with three mouths that swallow the dismay that mortals feel after committing an act in the grip of their instincts. An abyss that, just looking at, gives unimaginable pleasure His real body has three heads. One resembles a bull, one of a human being, and a third of a ram. The rest of his features are in perpetual change, swelling or deflating, depending on who he faces. It possesses everything that inspires fear and desire. Perfect and boundless sexual organs of all the existing sexes and others that mortals cannot imagine. Some grimoires describe him crouching on a dragon, interpenetrating with it in an impossible union, while others describe his lower limbs with draconic or goat-like attributes. Asmodeus can also secrete gaseous humours capable of obscuring the mind and corrupting the body of any mortal being. His breath, for a moment, is that of the longed-for lover, of the most feared one, and at the same time that of the last person with whom one would wish to copulate. It can poison love, scar the purest friendship forever, and consume every innocent bond. Those who survive one of its spells will never forget that feeling, carrying it with them until their last day of life. He finds irresistible all creatures that try to resist Lust, even though they feel its call. He also has a predilection for all individuals who have just entered their childbearing years, on whom his powers are strongest. But, unfortunately, Asmodeus is simply a creature who can quickly grow bored of anyone and often finds his staunchest opponents more intriguing than his servants. Often, those who worship him gradually push themselves into increasingly unmentionable acts in a vain attempt to keep his interest alive.
