# Backstory ## Where was Persephone Patella born? ## Persephone Patella's Family Persephone Patella was born to the Patella family. A high ranking family within Aquaroma. Persephone being a full Water Genasi, experienced that of great powers and followed in the footsteps of her parents, [[Ripple Patella]] & [[Azura Patella]]. Persephone is an only child due to her parents having infertility issues. To her parents, it is a miracle that they were able to have her. Like most clerics of the sea they worship [[Eldath]] the deity of peace, calm waters, and purification. ## Before Now What was Persephone Patella doing before now? Did they have to leave anything behind to start doing what they're doing now? What/who did they leave behind? Why did they choose to start what they're doing now? Moving out of the swamp region they moved to a place off the coast of [[Neverwinter]] to start building their new home. When they arrived they realized that they could cultivate the land and also trade with the tradespeople in Neverwinter. Many centuries later it is not uncommon to see a Water Genasi or two at the shops in [[Neverwinter]]. Over the centuries that they have built a Romanesque civilization. Also in a few centuries the population has grown to a sizable city. Townsfolk in Neverwinter started calling the civilization under the water "[[Aquaroma]]" or [[Aquaroma|The Land Under the Sea]]. At [[18]], it is tradition for Water Genasi's to leave home and adventure through the Sword Coast. Not all Water Genasi's go on great adventures but the families of old send their children with the rule of "don't return without coming home after doing something significant." Even though Ripple & Azura do not hold the same traditional values as that of their forefathers, as leaders of the community they are expected to uphold the tradition. As such Persephone is sent out on her adventure to do something great. The only issue is Persephone was raised in a very posh household not really having to ask twice for things. Even the power that Persephone possesses cannot make her use them, and without using them for a good cause they are useless. So the air headed young adult heads out with her sending stone to talk with her friends and find some fun in the next town... maybe even to help hunt down an [[Adventuring Parties|Adventuring Party]] and do something worthy of returning home, like killing a [[Cryovain|dragon]]. ## Rumors What (if any) rumors are known about Persephone Patella? # Physical Descriptions ## What does Persephone Patella look like?
